The new Jujutsu Kaisen season already has lots of memorable episodes. For instance, the Toji and Gojo fight earlier in the season got a lot of attention, as well as Gojo being sealed in the Prison Realm.

Just a few weeks ago, the show became a huge trending topic online thanks to the eye-popping visuals and animation of Yuji and Choso’s fight.

Now, Episode 40 helped the show trend again, this time because of the unique style of the fights.

Instead of the hyper-detailed style of other fights, this latest episode has a more fluid and expressionistic look.

The overall look of this episode is noticeably different from the other episodes with the lack of shadows and less detailed designs. Despite this, most fans think that the episode did the original manga fights justice.

What got the most attention is no doubt the fight between Jogo and Sukuna as it's easily one of the most dynamic scenes in the entire anime. This is thanks to the work of episode director Miso.
