If you’ve already rewatched the first five episodes, it’s time to listen to the Jujutsu Kaisen Hidden Inventory/Premature Death soundtrack that’s now streaming on various platforms.

Because of how popular Jujutsu Kaisen is, the show’s second season was easily the most anticipated anime of Summer 23. Despite the massive hype for the show, it did not disappoint.

For the second season, MAPPA went all out as the first five episodes featured impressive animation and a killer soundtrack. This distinct new style for the show is thanks in large part to new director Shouta Goshozono.

If the remarkable animation isn’t enough, MAPPA made a unique opening for the second season’s initial arc.

The next episodes following this will have their own opening by returning band, King Gnu.

What’s surprising about this is that the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc isn’t even the biggest part of the season. That honor goes to the Shibuya Incident, which is going to be the show’s most explosive arc yet.

Though fans will need to wait a bit longer for this next arc. To give the staff more time to work on the next part, the show went on a three-week-long hiatus which will end later this month.

It’s impressive that the first five episodes of the show already got over 25 tracks, though something like this has happened before.
