Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 161 Recap
A lot of new characters are introduced in this chapter. A boy named Amai is stationed to give out a signal in case a new player shows up. The other character is a woman named Hanyu whose hair can transform into a jet. Before entering the barrier, Megumi and Yūji talk about being cautious of sorcerers that have been incarnated from the past, who are more deadly than usual and might not be open to negotiations. The two of them are split up upon entering the barrier. It turns out that new players are randomly teleported to various locations.
Itadori sees Amai giving out a signal. Hanyu flies off and starts to attack Yūji but he manages to block it and even hits her with a piece of debris. A guy with a helicopter hat named Haba shows up. Amai looks at the situation and realizes that he recognizes Itadori. Meanwhile, Fushiguro defeated a woman who attacked him. He used Nue to try to locate Yūji, but it seems that they're more than two kilometers away from each other. Megumi asks the woman if she knows Higuruma. She immediately catches on and negotiates with him that if she wants information on Higuruma, he needs to be her personal knight in return. He agrees with no hesitation, and the woman introduces herself as Remi.
