Ninja Kamui is a new Adult Swim anime that’s getting a lot of attention. Aside from looking forward to new episodes, many viewers have become curious about Joseph Chou in Ninja Kamui.
That’s because Chou is one of the show’s staff, which includes several notable names that have worked on other popular titles.
Even before the show’s premiere, many anime fans probably already heard about the director as he’s behind other well-known action anime.
Meet the Creative Team behind Adult Swim’s New Anime
Perhaps the biggest creative force behind Ninja Kamui is Sunghoo Park. Aside from being the director, Park is also the founder of E&H Production, the main studio that’s working on the series.
Park is a popular figure in the anime industry as he is the director of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, and The God of High School. Park has shown his expertise in directing action anime through these titles.
After directing the Jujutsu Kaisen movie, Park founded his new studio, though it took years before its first proper project. The studio finally released its first anime titled Monsters 103 a few weeks ago.
Ninja Kamui also features a script by Shigeru Murakoshi. He is another notable name in anime thanks to his composition work on Zombie Land Saga, The God of High School, and I’m Quitting Heroing.
Rounding out the main staff list is Joseph Chou, who is credited as the new show’s producer. While Park and Murakoshi are quite popular, other fans may not be as familiar yet with Chou’s work.

Who Is Joseph Chou in Ninja Kamui?
Even though he may not be as well-known as other Ninja Kamui staff, Chou is just as prolific. That’s because he is the CEO of Sola Digital Arts.
As such, he is the producer of many popular titles like Tower of God, Shenmue the Animation, and Knights of the Zodiac.
Chou has also worked on Western animation productions such as Blade Runner: Black Lotus, as well as the upcoming Rick and Morty anime and The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.
It’s also interesting to note that Chou worked on The God of High School as a producer, meaning Ninja Kamui is not the first time that he worked with Sunghoo Park and Shigeru Murakoshi.
Ninja Kamui gets new episodes every week on Adult Swim, followed by a streaming release on Max.
