Viewers are still enthralled by the Kdrama Joseon Attorney due to its spectacular scenes and intriguing plot.
Currently airing on MBC, starring VIXX leader Cha Hak-yeon, WJSN Bona, and Woo Do Hwan, the series tells the story of an outsider lawyer who takes revenge by trial on a person responsible for his parents' deaths. Although he started working on it out of revenge, the drama will portray the growth of the main character, who is gradually becoming a real lawyer who works for the people.
Joseon Attorney Episode 4 aired on April 8, 2023. The episode received a nationwide viewership rating of 2.7%, which was a 0.2% decrease in ratings compared to the previous episode.

Joseon Attorney Episode 4 sees WJSN Bona firm with her decision to fire Woo Do Hwan from being the attorney of a case close to her heart.
Kang Han-Soo was planning to avenge his parents’ unfortunate deaths by punishing the people responsible. As he was proceeding to ruin Commissioner Park, he found out about the situation he was in with his wife. However, Yeon-Joo refused to follow his plan.

Woo Do Hwan works on his own in Joseon Attorney Episode 4
Because he was taken out of the case by Yeon-Joo, Han-Soo had no choice but to do things his own way. He visited Myeong-Wol, a gisaeng who was hanging out with Commissioner Park and whom he had promised to be his concubine.
He bribed her with irresistible evidence that he knew would have her change her mind and transfer to their side. Han-Soo knows that what he gave Myeong-Wol will prompt her decision to stand as a witness against Commissioner Park.
Without Han-Soo’s notice, Yeon-Joo disguised herself as a man and visited Myeong-Wol with the same intention. But Yeon-Joo offered her a chance to build her own cosmetics business.

WJSN Bona saves Woo Do Hwan in Joseon Attorney Episode 4
While Han-Soo pretended to be on Commissioner Park’s side, Yeon-Joo also thought that the attorney had no sense of justice. She completely misunderstood that Han-Soo had a much bigger plan.
During the drinking session with the other public officials, Han-Soo stimulated Commissioner Park into telling him that Myeong-Wol had secretly met with Lady Yeon’s attorneys.
Commissioner Park stormed out of the courtesan house to find Myeong-Weol and strangled her to death. He tried to disguise her death as suicide, but Han-Soo was filled with anger, wondering if it was the same way they had treated his mother in the past.
Yeon-Joo realized that Han-Soo’s method might be unfair, but there should be another way without letting Lady Yeon hurt herself. However, when she was about to see the attorney, he suddenly disappeared.
With hopes that Han-Soo would return, Yeon-Joo continuously sent lanterns into the air. The next morning, Yeon-Joo discovered Dong-Chi was also looking for Han-Soo. Right at that moment, she knew that the waving light she saw the night before was a signal from Han-Soo who was trapped in the middle of his sinking ship.

Just in time for the trial, Han-Soo and Yeon-Joo arrived to defend Lady Yeon. Myeong-Wol, whom Commissioner Park thought was already dead, also appeared in the trial as a witness. She revealed all the ugly truth about him, including his crime of murdering Lady Yeon’s father in order to get all her assets.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Park was trapped in jail. But when Han-Soo visited him, he had hanged himself, the same way that the former found his mother.
