Jordan Peele Hijacks Super Bowl 2019 With Eerie Twilight Zone Teaser

Viewers watching the Super Bowl 2019 might not be sure if they're still watching the game between the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots or are already in a completely new dimension. Jordan Peele has just hijacked Super Bowl LIII with the eerie teaser for The Twilight Zone.

The TV spot opens with what appears to be the game coming back after a commercial break. However, the screen suddenly falters and goes completely black. There's a message claiming that "CBS IS OFF THE AIR."

This is certainly distressing especially when the broadcast comes back on and the people in the stands simply disappear. The stadium is absolutely empty except for one man as you are invited to "witness an empty space filled with thousands of screaming people."

"A man both nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Answers are new questions. The unthinkable is the expected," the narrator continues.

It is then revealed that the man is actually Peele himself and he has a conundrum for you. "When truth is not the truth, what dimension are you even in?"

He then proceeds to open a door mounted on a door frame in the middle of the field and immediately disappears on the other side.

Fans need not worry, the game continues after the teaser. However, we are now wondering what we could expect from The Twilight Zone later this year.

The Twilight Zone will premiere on CBS All Access on April 1.
