Joker Returns To Break Up With Harley Quinn In New Birds Of Prey Photos

Don't rule out a possible appearance from the Clown Prince of Crime in Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) just yet. Margot Robbie has just been spotted filming a scene with the Joker and it looks like he's breaking up with Harley Quinn in a surprisingly domestic manner.

The new Birds of Prey set photos have popped up on social media showing Harley looking distressed in front of a house. Some of the pictures display the reason for her distress: Joker is throwing her things out from a second-floor window. Take a look at the images below.

So does this mean that Jared Leto will have a cameo in the highly anticipated DC Extended Universe flick? According to Just Jared, that's just another actor dressed as the Joker. After all, Leto is busy working on his Sony film Morbius at the moment. Nevertheless, that hasn't stopped Warner Bros. from bringing back the Clown Prince of Crime.

The break-up scene is certainly an interesting one since it shows that the couple actually got themselves a house in what appears to be the suburbs. In addition to that, it appears that it was Joker who broke up with Harley, not vice versa.

The photos already have some fans wondering if it's a real scene or not. It could be a flashback sequence from Harley's point of view and her memories might not be as reliable as she thinks. Either way, we'll find out just what exactly is happening here soon enough.

Birds of Prey will also star Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress and Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary. The two heroes will be teaming up with Robbie's Harley Quinn in an effort to save a young girl from a criminal mastermind.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is scheduled for release on February 7, 2020.
