It will still be a long wait for any new JoJo's Bizarre Adventure content but it looks like we're set for some good news. The live-action adaptation of the spin-off series Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is now available for streaming internationally for the first time since its Japanese release two years ago!
The live-action Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan series is now streaming on RetroCrush, a free streaming service that specializes in classic anime and other content around Asia (via Anime News Network). This is the first time that the show has been made available outside of Japan since its release back in 2020.
Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan follows the mangaka Rohan Kishibe (Issei Takahashi) as he shares stories of his travels where he encounters all things supernatural. The first season initially consisted of three episodes that were released in December 2020. The next three episodes were dropped in December of the following year.
Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is based on the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable spin-off manga by Hirohiko Araki. It was also turned into an anime that consist of four episodes.
This is welcome news considering that Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan has never been released outside of Japan before. With that in mind, it's a great way to enjoy some JoJo's Bizarre Adventure content before the release of the next batch of episodes of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean.
