JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Creator Hirohiko Araki Shares Update on JoJolands

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fans are undoubtedly happy all through this month, thanks to Stone Ocean on Netflix and a couple of spin-off mangas being dropped in December. However, Hirohiko Araki clearly wants to end the year on another positive note. The mangaka has just shared an awesome update on the manga's unofficial ninth part JoJolands!

We haven't learned much about JoJolands just yet other than it is set to be JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 9 and that it will bring back some of the beloved Joestars from the previous parts. But how soon can we expect the next chapter of the Joestars' story? Hirohiko Araki himself shared a small yet hopeful update.

Araki recently took part in a virtual panel where he shared what he has been working on these days. The mangaka confirmed that JoJolands is currently "in the works."

It's a small update but what exactly does that mean? There's a possibility that Araki still has a lot of writing to do. After all, the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure creator doesn't have a hard time working on his characters or the general story beats. It's the actual writing that takes time. Nevertheless, we're glad to know that JoJolands is his main priority.

That's not the only big JoJo's Bizarre Adventure news during the panel. It was also revealed that there will be another one-shot manga focusing on a new character named Rohan Kishibe. Hopefully, we'll learn more about that soon.

One of the biggest JoJo updates this December is undoubtedly JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean which finally premiered on Netflix. However, it was only the first cours of the anime that was dropped on the streaming service.

For now, the second part of Stone Ocean has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
