John Krasinski is probably best known for his role as Jim in the NBC hit series, The Office. He also proved his talent as a director with the box office hit A Quiet Place, which he starred in with his wife, Emily Blunt. Krasinski is also the lead for Amazon's Jack Ryan series, with its second season premiering in November. However, is it possible that Krasinski is still hung up on not getting the role of Captain America?

The Office alum is celebrating his 40th birthday by raising money for a non-profit organization called Family Reach. He is working with Venmo to raise money for families of cancer patients.

Krasinski took to Twitter to reach out to some of his famous friends for support. One of which includes Captain America actor Chris Evans.

He tagged Evans in a tweet joking about how he should "pay up" because he "robbed" the role of Captain America from Krasinski. You can check out the tweet below.

Evans went with the joke and cleverly replied to Krasinski's tweet with a gif from an episode of The Office.

If you recall, Evans was chosen over Krasinski for the role and revealed in an interview with Variety last year that he even found out on the day of his wife's birthday. Blunt even offered Krasinski to cancel their plans that evening, but Krasinski replied, "It's Chris Evans. Of course, we're going to dinner."

For now, Krasinski is still working on negotiations with Paramount for his movie Imaginary Friends. He'll star alongside Deadpool's Ryan Reynolds.
