John Cho Addresses Cowboy Bebop Injury, Netflix Show's Possible Delay

Fans were understandably shocked when it was reported that John Cho has suffered a major injury on the set of the live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop. Unfortunately, Cho's injury would mean that the production for the upcoming Netflix series would have to be delayed. Nevertheless, the Star Trek actor assured people that he will get back to work as soon as possible.

Cho took to his official Instagram account to address the injury and the possible Cowboy Bepop delay. The accompanying image is rather reassuring. Take a look at his post below.

"'Water can flow or it can crash.' - Bruce Lee," Cho wrote before adding, "Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. Gonna be back and flowing in no time!"

Cho's injury was initially reported by Deadline, who revealed that it was "a freak accident that happened on the last take of a routine and well-rehearsed scene." It was also confirmed that Cho would require injury and that the filming for the series would be delayed for seven to nine months. We're hoping that Cho recovers soon so he could get back to action as soon as possible.

Cowboy Bebop will also star Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, and Alex Hassell as Vicious. It has also been confirmed that Shinichiro Watanabe, who directed the anime series, will serve as a consultant on the series.

The show has not yet been given an official release date and it is still unclear when production will resume. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
