John Boyega Talks About How Star Wars Episode IX Will Literally End

John Boyega is one of the fresh faces to be introduced in the Star Wars franchise, and his character of Finn is coming back for Episode IX. He's still at work with production, but he does tease fans about how the movie will end… literally.

When asked by a fan how the movie ends, Boyega joked with:

While Boyega has been hard at work, some of his castmates have already wrapped filming. Yesterday, C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels had tweeted that he was done with his part of the movie. Boyega replied on Twitter with:

The story of Boyega's character Finn has definitely been an interesting one. Though I wasn't convinced about him turning as a stormtrooper in the first film. I have been very invested in seeing how his character has grown from a selfish coward to a brave hero of the Resistance. No doubt he's going to be a full-on rebel in this final film, and I can't wait to see how his character comes full circle.

I do wish we could get updates on Kelly Marie Tran's character Rose. Despite all the complaints from ‘fans,' I actually liked Rose, and I was upset that Tran herself was bullied out of social media. Hopefully, Abrams gives her an interesting arc when it comes to the finale of the sequel trilogy. Don't give the haters what they want, Lucasfilm!

Star Wars Episode IX is set to come out Dec. 20.
