John Barrowman Apologizes for Exposing Himself on Doctor Who Set

In case you missed it, John Barrowman has been caught up in the sexual harassment allegations against former Doctor Who co-star Noah Clarke. The Torchwood actor has now spoken up about the claims and issued an apology for exposing himself to the Doctor Who crew on set.

It was previously reported that several women have come forward with sexual harassment allegations against Clarke. This also led to a few people speaking up about Barrowman's actions on the set of Doctor Who where he would reportedly "have his balls hanging out his trousers."

However, Barrowman has since changed his ways. In a statement issued to The Guardian, the former Arrow actor stated that the "tomfoolery" he displayed on the Doctor Who set "was never intended or interpreted as sexual in nature" and he now understands why it made his colleagues uncomfortable.

"With the benefit of hindsight, I understand that upset may have been caused by my exuberant behaviour and I have apologised for this previously," Barrowman said. "Since my apology in November 2008, my understanding and behaviour have also changed."

Barrowman had already been reprimanded by the Doctor Who producers for his actions on the set. Luckily, he has since ceased doing the same thing, proving that he understood why he needed to stop. On the other hand, Clarke still insists that he didn't do anything wrong despite mounting accusations that include taking sexually suggestive photos and recording a naked audition.

Do you think Clarke should issue an official statement similar to Barrowman's? Sound off in the comments below.
