According to an insider, there are still more tests that need to be done. However, they have already removed some polyps, and Exotic is getting transfusions intermittently, but not quite on the right schedule, which was a cause of concern for the insider.

The insider added that being in prison is a tough place for someone with an illness. It's not a medical facility, and isolation is more challenging.

Carole Baskin's Reaction To Joe Exotic's Cancer Diagnosis

The Tiger King star updated his fans about his health on Twitter. "Doctors called me in today to break the news that my prostate biopsy came back with an aggressive cancer, Carole Will have her own party over this!" his account tweeted, referring to his fellow Tiger King alum Carole Baskin.

Baskin isn't convinced about Exotic's cancer diagnosis. She doubts if he is really sick.

"He’s the little boy who has cried wolf so long that I don’t think anyone should believe a word he says," she said of him recently.
