Kingdom Hearts 3 now has a release date after years of fans wondering when it would come out but the wait isn't over. Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake currently has no release date as of this writing and even after E3 2018, no announcement regarding the highly-anticipated game has been made. Fans are willing to wait it out as long as it leads to a great game and many are interested in the changes being made.

This is why some fans might be surprised to see Square Enix call the remake an "Action Game" during a job listing to recruit 3DCG designers to work as VFX designers. To be fair, the footage we've seen thus far have shown a more action-oriented combat system but many assumed that this just meant it would be an Action RPG ala Kingdom Hearts or even Final Fantasy XV.

Admittedly, Square Enix describing it as an Action Game doesn't mean that it won't be an Action RPG or have elements from the genre. The developers know that fans want elements from the JRPG genre in this game so we will likely get them when it comes to unlocking skills and buying items.

What are your thoughts on the Final Fantasy VII Remake being more action-oriented? Do you want more RPG elements? Let us know in the comments below.
