JK Rowling Returns Human Rights Award After Being Called Out for Her Transphobia

It hasn't been easy being a Harry Potter fan lately, as J.K. Rowling never says jk about her rampant transphobia. The author claims to love trans people but then proceeds to attack them online and refuses to listen to anyone who wants to educate her about this issue. Granted, we're sure some of the things these people have been saying are done as a form of attack but we're genuinely shocked to see Rowling going down this rabbit hole of hatred.

Sadly, that hole has gotten bigger as Rowling is such a TERF that she returned her Human Rights award after the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Group called her out for the remarks she has been making. Yes, rather than apologize and attempt to learn more about the bodies of trans people, Rowling is giving back a HUMAN RIGHTS AWARD because they called her out for sharing transphobic remarks.

The author insists that there is a radical trans rights movement that is supposedly putting a negative effect on the issues women are facing. On her website, she states that the difference in views she has with the RFKHR is too great, hence returning the Human Rights award that she won. It's bizarre and we can't believe things have gotten this bad with Rowling.

"In solidarity with those who have contacted me but who are struggling to make their voices heard, and because of the very serious conflict of views between myself and RFKHR, I feel I have no option but to return the Ripple of Hope Award bestowed upon me last year. I am deeply saddened that RFKHR has felt compelled to adopt this stance, but no award or honour, no matter my admiration for the person for whom it was named, means so much to me that I would forfeit the right to follow the dictates of my own conscience."

Aside from Harry Potter, Rowling is also working on the current Fantastic Beasts film series. Two of a supposed six have been released, the first of which received positive reviews while the second was thrashed for being an incoherent mess that destroyed its once lovable characters. No release date for Fantastic Beasts 3 has been released.
