J.K. Rowling Doesn’t Want To Publish Her New Book

J.K. Rowling might have a new book ready for fans, but it looks like the successful Harry Potter author might not be publishing the novel at all.

Speaking in an interview with CNN, Rowling revealed that she had just written a new children's book and while it tries to be political but "not political in a party political sense," the novelist might not ever publish the book. Apparently the Harry Potter had come up with the book while preparing for her birthday party held during Halloween. Rowling had decided to go a "lost manuscript" and then wrote all over a dress most of her political "fairy tale" which fans will probably be never able to read.

"And I wrote over that dress, most of the book I had… I wrote it. So that book, I don't know if it'll ever be published, but it's actually hanging in a wardrobe currently."

It's such a shame – Rowling does make good children's books and Harry Potter readers would have probably loved to try out the "lost manuscript." Hopefully Rowling changes her mind in the future.

The film based on Rowling's Harry Potter spinoff series, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2, premieres on November 16, 2018.
