J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Working on Justice League Dark Movies and Shows

It looks like DC and Warner Bros are going to continue trying to make Justice League Dark a thing to the mainstream. While we did get an amazing animated movie that just happened to star Batman, there hasn't been much movement when it comes to the live-action portion. DC won't stop trying though as Deadline has announced that J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot is working on new movies and tv shows based on the popular comic book.

While Bad Robot is working on Justice League Dark-related movies and shows, no specific characters for these properties were mentioned. Considering how the group has characters like Constantine, Zatanna, Swamp Thing, Deadman, and so much more, we're actually a bit shocked not to see a movie or series for this group.

Yes, we know that there shows for Constantine and Swamp Thing but, well, those got canned. It's a shame too since people seemed to like those shows and it's a shame that they didn't get the love they deserve from their studios, especially Swamp Thing. At least Constantine appeared in a bunch of CW crossovers.

Considering the potential of Justice League Dark, we're hoping that Bad Robot does this fine comic book justice. It's a shame that Guillermo del Toro didn't stay on since his pitch with a focus on Swamp Thing sounded promising. At the least, it would have been gorgeous to look at.

Expect more Justice League Dark news when we get them.
