Jinxed At First Episode 8 Recap
Jinxed At First Episode 8 sees Seulbi staying at Chief Wang’s office after leaving Sookwang’s home. During her stay, Pi Daeshik tested if she really could foretell the future and asked about the woman she loves.
Pi Daeshik also gives her an idea of how she can earn money to buy her own home. Seulbi returns to the market and sits in the fortune teller’s shop. And because the fortune teller recognizes Seulbi’s powers and treats her as her master, it was easy for Seulbi to stay in and acquire her position.
On the other hand, Chief Wang reports to Sookwang that Seulbi is staying in his office.
Sookwang rushes to fetch Seulbi but discovers that Pi Daeshik had brought him back to the market and that she has started reading the merchants’ fortune.

Girls’ Generation Seohyun Saves The Market People With Her Powers In Jinxed At First Episode 8
As Seulbi acquires the fortune teller’s position in reading the merchants’ fortunes, she sees that a huge commotion will occur in the oil shop. She warns Youngwoo’s mom to tell his husband to abort his task to go to the oil shop and return as soon as possible.
It turns out that the oil shop merchant’s ex-husband has been harassing her for a long time and he was about to hold her hostage. Thankfully, Chief Park had called the police and they immediately caught the culprit.
Meanwhile, Seulbi stays in the fortune teller’s store and continues reading. Sookwang storms into the store and sees Seulbi draining her energy.
The two got into a heated conversation when Sookwang questioned Seulbi if she escaped Geumhwa Hotel just to repeat what she hated to do–reading people’s fortune. Seulbi tried to explain her side but the emotions overwhelmed her.

Jinxed At First Episode 8 also highlights Seulbi returning to Geumhwa Hotel by herself and sees her mother suffering from illness. Misoo fails to recognize Seulbi and still lingers to the young child she was.
This hurts Seulbi so much but she tried to gather her emotions for her mother. Minjoon then promised Seulbi that he will not treat her as an object that brings luck but as a regular person. He lets Seulbi redecorate their home and even fought for her right to stay with her mother.
