Actor Jin Goo appeared on "Descendants Of The Sun" alongside the estranged couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo.

The coronavirus does not exempt anyone that even the biggest names in the entertainment industry got affected before their scheduled filming. Ji Chang-Wook, Kim Sung Gyu, Lee Min Hyuk, Doyoung, San, Hani, and Seo In-young were among those Korean stars who suffered and survived the virus.
Unfortunately, the tragedy did not stop there as Descendants Of The Sun actor became its latest victim.
Jin Goo Contracts COVID-19 Before New Project's Arrival
On Tuesday, Jin Goo's agency confirmed the saddening news about the actor's diagnosis. It also confirmed that he began receiving treatment while isolating himself in a dedicated facility.
The company also took the fans' worries away by saying that the star remains asymptomatic and is not suffering from any effects of the virus.

Part of the statement read:
"Last month, he received notice that he had been in close contact with a confirmed case. After he tested positive, he has been following the measures given by the disease control authorities. At the time he was tested, he had no symptoms, and he continues to be asymptomatic now. He is in good health."
Jin Goo was reportedly exposed while preparing for his undisclosed role. However, it is worth noting that he has been cast to be part of Director Lee Chang Won's film, You're So Precious To Me.

Before contracting the disease, Jin Goo was still able to shed light on his upcoming local film.
Months ago, he sat for an interview with Korea JoongAng Daily and revealed that the director truly works hard on the script. The showrunner reportedly wanted to revise the law for people with disabilities, as he highlights in the film.

In South Korea's current law, those people who are blind and deaf do not belong to the 15 categories of people with disabilities. Thus, they do not receive support and funding from the government.
After working with that type of flick, the actor said he no longer has a preference when it comes to genres. According to Jin Goo, he wants to offer anything to his fans, and becoming part of any movie or series would surely be an honor no matter what.
