Jessica Jones Season 3 To Premiere On Netflix In June

People have been understandably concerned that the final season of Jessica Jones may have been shelved after the Marvel shows on Netflix were cancelled. However, there is hope yet for Krysten Ritter fans. Jessica Jones Season 3 is now set to air in June.

The good news comes from the official Netflix NX Twitter account, which highlighted the new films and shows that will stream on the service next month. Interestingly, it includes Jessica Jones Season 3. Take a look at the tweet below.

The caption makes no mention of the Marvel show, which is listed as "coming soon." Although the final season of Jessica Jones does not have an official air date just yet, fans can rest assured that the last remaining Marvel series will still be available on the streaming giant.

Jessica Jones is the last Marvel show that will air on Netflix. Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist were all cancelled last year while the streaming service waited until after the second season of The Punisher aired earlier in 2019 before announcing its cancellation. Not surprisingly, The Defenders was quietly axed in 2018 as well.

So what can we expect in the final season of Jessica Jones? There have been speculations that Season 3 will feature Jessica trying to live a normal life with Oscar Arocho. However, the peace could be shattered when she discovers that Trish Walker is developing powers of her own. Could the sisters find themselves on opposing sides? It would certainly make for an interesting conclusion for the series.

Jessica Jones Season 3 has not yet been given an official premiere date. Nevertheless, the final season is set to air on Netflix this June. Stay tuned for more updates.
