This shouldn't be a surprise for fans after the events in the second season. In the stunning season finale AKA Playland, Trish went after Jessica's mother Alisa Jones and killed her. Although Jessica took the blame for the murder, she doesn't forgive her adoptive sister for what Trish had done.
There's a possibility that Trish will end up in jail for Alisa' murder. However, considering that she has discovered that she has new powers, it's also possible that Trish went too far and committed a completely different crime. Hopefully, everything will be revealed when the third season of Jessica Jones airs next year.
Although we're still looking forward to Season 3, fans are understandably concerned with the future of Jessica Jones. After all, Netflix has been canceling Marvel shows at a disturbing rate. Nevertheless, let's hope that Krysten Ritter's wise-cracking private investigator manages to dodge the bullet.
Jessica Jones Season 3 has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is expected to air on Netflix soon after The Punisher Season 2 premieres in January 2019.
