Jeremy Renner Shares Promising Update on His Recovery from Snowplow Accident

The New Year's Day was met with the unfortunate news that beloved actor Jeremy Renner, known for his iconic role as Clint Barton/Hawkeye in the MCU, got involved in a snowplow accident that left him in critical condition at that time. Since then, we've been hearing some encouraging news as he is now in recovery mode from the horrific event.

Last night, Renner gave another encouraging update about his recovery from the accident on Twitter where he revealed that he is out of the hospital and is now recovering at home with his family where they watched the season two premiere of his TV series Mayor of Kingstown.

"Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home," the Oscar-nominated actor wrote in his tweet.

After getting hit by a 14,330-pound snowplow that led him to an accident, Renner was hospitalized and underwent two surgeries for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. Since then, the actor has been constantly sharing updates on social media to assure fans about his condition.

A recent report from Radar Online shed some light on Renner's condition where they spoke with the actor's closest friends about his current state as a result of the accident.

"It’s much worse than anyone knows. Jeremy is very aware of the fact that he almost died out there," sources told the outlet. "Jeremy was in a lot of pain, and was having difficulty breathing."

The report also claimed that they heard from sources that the actor might require around two years in order to recover and go back to his optimal shape. It is also very likely that he will undergo more surgeries in the coming weeks.

It is great to see that Renner is in recovery mode at the moment. Hopefully, his future surgeries will also go well and the recovery process will continue to go on until he can possibly go back to his acting career at some point (depending on the advice of his doctor).
