A new report suggested that Renner is doing whatever it takes to recover. The 52-year-old The Bourne Legacy star recently shared his progress with his 20.3 million Instagram followers.
In a photo of him using one leg to pedal an exercise bike, Renner captioned:
“Whatever it takes. Resolutions all changed this particular New Years. These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all.”

The support Renner is getting has been a lifesaver for him. A source said to Star Magazine:
“When friends visit, they’re amazed at home mobile he is in his wheelchair. He likes hanging out with them, and his sense of humor seems to be intact.”
The same informant added:
“He’s doing his physical therapy every day, the doctors don’t have to remind him. He’s still in discomfort, of course, but he’s got a will a steel.”
The tipster said doctors are optimistic Renner will make a full recovery, though the long-term effects of the accident aren’t clear. That’s not stopping the California native, who has also been reading self-help books such as Mark Nepo’sThe Book of Awakening.

Meanwhile, Renner has recently opened up about how his imminent Disney+ show has been a “driving force” in his recuperations. While Mayor of Kingstown is a fictional drama in the middle of its second season, Rennevationsis a brand-new reality show where Renner and his friends rebuild and reimagine vehicles to give to less fortunate people.
The American actor told Entertainment Tonight:
“This is one of my biggest passions and it’s a driving force in my recovery, and I can’t wait for the world to see it.”
For starters, the four-part series was shot before the shocking snowplow accident of Renner. It is a renovation show where he travels around the world alongside celebrity friends Vanessa Hudgens and Anthony Mackie, turning vehicles into mobile music studios and water treatment facilities.
Renner expressed his excitement about the said sow:
“I’ve been on this journey for many years, and I started in my community by building vehicles for people in need. But a few years ago, I thought, how can I plus this up and create a bigger impact on a whole community -- and that’s what this show does.”
