The start of the new year hasn't been very kind to actor Jeremy Renner who underwent urgent surgery earlier this week following the serious injuries he sustained from a snow-plowing accident that nearly cost him his life. The 51-year-old star suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries after a snowplowing machine flipped him over as he was helping clear snow after a major snowstorm hit the Northern Nevada area on New Year's Eve.
