Jeopardy! Features Black Widow in Trivia Question but Gets Her MCU Name Wrong

At this point, it seems like everyone and their mom know exactly who Black Widow is. So it's no surprise that Scarlett Johansson's Marvel Cinematic Universe character has just popped up in a trivia question on Jeopardy!. But was there an error in the question? Some have pointed out that the show actually got Natasha Romanoff's name wrong.

An episode of Jeopardy! has just featured a 'Female Superheroes' category and one clue was an easy one for fans. "It's the superhero name of Natasha Romanova, a big screen butt-kicker played by Scarlett Johansson," it read (via Reddit).

Notice anything strange about the clue? ScreenRant pointed out that Jeopardy! actually used Natasha's comic book name instead of "Natasha Romanoff", which is the name used in the MCU.

It's just a small error and it clearly didn't affect the contestant who answered "Black Widow" correctly. After all, Nat has had several names including Natalia Romanova (her birth name) and Natalie Rushman (the alias she used in Iron Man 2) but fans could still easily tell if it's her. Still, we're glad that the contestant got this one right.

Black Widow is now set to star in her own film after playing a supporting role in several MCU films. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a little longer before seeing the movie. It was previously confirmed that the premiere of the upcoming Marvel movie will be postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. For now, Black Widow has not yet been given a new release date.
