Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are finally Mr. and Mrs. Affleck. However, their marriage is not a guarantee that they will be together forever, according to her ex-husband Ojani Noa.

Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck's Marriage Will Not Last

Jennifer Lopez has been married multiple times before Ben Affleck. Her first husband, actor-producer Ojania Noa, reacted to her most recent marriage.

The Marry Me actress and Batman star had a surprise Las Vegas wedding a few weeks back. Ojani wished the newlyweds the best. However, in his opinion, it's just another marriage for Lopez, and their union will not last.

"I wish her and Ben the best, but I’m not convinced it will last," Noa told Daily Mail.

"Jen loves being in love but she’s been engaged six times. Ben is husband number four. I was husband number one and she told me I was the love of her life. When we lay in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together forever."

Looking back at their past romance, Noa said he had no idea who Lopez was when they first met. At 28 years old, Lopez was already a celebrity.

According to Noa, when they glanced at each other, he found her to be "the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen." However, she changed as her career went from strength to strength.

Noa and Lopez married in February 1997 but split in 1998. Noa said he lost 40 pounds through stress to save their marriage "while at the same time our whole life became a lie." According to him, he was encouraged to "fake it" for cameras.

Following their divorce, Lopez dated Diddy, then she was with back-up singer Cris Judd, who became her second husband. Noa said Judd and Affleck "are both good guys."

He even admitted that he was happy for Lopez being with Affleck, but he's just not convinced that their marriage will last. For him, Lopez is not the type who settles with one person.

"I’m happy she has gone back to Ben but I have a feeling this won’t last," he added.

"‘I think she’s someone who will be married seven or eight times. I can’t see her ever settling down with one person. She pushes herself to constantly go forward in her professional life, which is why she’s had a three-decade career, but she also moves on in her private life."

Jennifer Lopez Doesn't Think She And Ben Affleck Will Separate Again

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck started dating in 2002 when she split from her second ex-husband, Cris Judd. They got engaged later that year but called off their 2003 wedding. In 2004, they eventually called off their engagement.

Seventeen years later, Affleck and Lopez were back together, and they eventually tied the knot after nearly two decades of waiting.

While Noa doesn't think their marriage will last, Lopez already said that she doesn't think she and Affleck will separate again.

The Let's Get Loud singer said that they are both grown-ups and are more mature. At this point in their lives, with each of them being divorced at some point, they already know what they want in life. So, she doesn't see them being apart in the future.

"I don't think we would have got back together if we thought that was where it was headed," Lopez told Rolling Stone in February. "We feel like what we found again is so much more important, and how we protect that and how we live our lives — what to share, what not to share — is the balance that we have now, the benefit of experience and the wisdom that we gained over the years."

Also, JLo said they were lucky to have a second chance at love, and they are serious about keeping it. "It's a beautiful love story that we got a second chance," she told People.

She is also more confident with their love. The performer said they were no longer "naive" that got trampled by the tabloids that targeted them when they first dated in the early 2000s.

"We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things. We're so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us," Lopez added.
