Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s co-parenting relationship has always been smooth. Since the couple announced their divorce in 2015, it became evident that they were committed to co-parenting their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
In fact, even after their marriage was over, Jennifer Garner and Affleck were still photographed hanging out as a happy family with their children. There were also times wherein the exes were photographed together sans their kids.
But Garner and Affleck’s happy and peaceful co-parenting relationship allegedly turned sour after the Batman v Superman said that he felt trapped in their marriage. During a recent interview, Affleck also claimed that he resorted to drinking because he couldn’t get out of his union with Garner.

Jennifer Garner Couldn’t Control Her Anger At Ben Affleck When They Reunited
OK! magazine, in its Jan. 10 issue, claimed that Garner was livid after she heard her ex-husband’s comments. So, when Affleck visited her home in Los Angeles to see their kids, the exes got into a screaming match.
“What started as a tense discussion quickly escalated into a public screaming match in Jen’s front yard. Jen was livid and demanding to know what Ben was thinking. But Ben got defensive, saying it had all been blown out of proportion and told Jen to stop overreacting,” an unnamed source said.

Following the exes’ heated back and forth, Affleck allegedly left Garner’s home in a rage.
“He may have backtracked afterward, but Jen is really hurt, and this is another disappointment to add to her already long list. Jen tries to be fair and not get angry in front of the kids, but she can’t help it sometimes,” the unnamed source said.

Garner’s fury toward Affleck has also, allegedly, been affecting her relationship with John Miller. Even though the latter has nothing to do with what Affleck said, Garner can’t help but lash out at him because she’s just so upset.
“To his credit, John’s been wonderfully understanding and patient with the situation. He respects Jen and lets her deal with Ben in her own way, but he feels like he’s walking on eggshells. Ben’s the elephant in the room and friends worry it could drive John away,” the unnamed source said.

While it is true that Affleck’s recent comments offended fans, there’s no proof that Garner was also hurt over her ex-husband’s comments. After all, the Alias star has not released a statement about the issue.
Affleck also defended himself amid all the backlashes when he sat down for an interview with Jimmy Kimmel. The Tender Bar actor said that it wasn’t his intention to publicly criticize his ex-wife.
“I would never want my kids to think I would ever say a bad word about their mom,” Affleck said.

Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck Didn’t Celebrate Christmas Together
Following his comments, Affleck and Garner temporarily went their separate ways because the actress and her children enjoyed a short vacation over the holidays.
Photos of Garner with her three children and another woman were published online via Daily Mail. The snap shows the actress and her kids unloading their stuff from their car after they arrived back home.
While Garner and her children were away, Affleck stayed in Los Angeles to celebrate Christmas with his girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez.
A source said that Affleck and Lopez has a blast celebrating the holidays together.
“It was a pretty quiet holiday for them. They really enjoyed it after a busy fall,” a source told People.
