Jeffrey Dean Morgan Is The New Flashpoint Batman In New Image

There's been a lot of hope that Jeffery Dean Morgan might play Flashpoint Batman in the DC Extended Universe's The Flash movie, however, there have also been reports that Thomas Wayne's Batman might not even appear in the franchise at all.

Despite these reports, fans continue to clamor to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the Dark Knight in a Flashpoint movie. The ruckus over Flashpoint Batman has just gotten stronger this year with Ben Affleck resigning from his position as the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeve's upcoming DCEU entry, The Batman.

Now, digital artists Skull101ify has decided to release a new piece giving fans an idea of what The Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan might look like as Thomas Wayne's Batman in a Flashpoint-inspired version of the Bat's costume.

Check it out down here:

For the uninitiated, in the comics the Flashpoint storyline features an alternate universe created by The Flash after he tries to rescue his mother. In this alternate universe, Flash's previously deceased mother is alive. Captain Cold is Central City's greatest hero. The Justice League never came to fruition, and Superman is nowhere to be found. Wonder Woman's Amazons have conquered the British Isles while Aquaman and his Atlanteans have sunk most of Western Europe. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne's Batman doesn't exist. In this timeline, it's Bruce that gets killed while his parents survive. Thomas Wayne, Bruce's father, becomes Batman. His mother, Martha, becomes insane after losing her only son and becomes the Joker.

It would have definitely been interesting to see a Flashpoint movie, though we believe that DC has a long way to go till that happens.
