The DC Universe has gained a ton of momentum over the last couple of days and if it wasn't obvious enough, the franchise, under the supervision of DC Studios' newly-appointed bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran is undergoing some serious creative changes moving forward.

The duo's first order of business is to reestablish Superman as the DCU's flagship superhero with Henry Cavill reportedly getting his Man of Steel sequel. Now, his Justice League co-star Jason Momoa is breaking his silence on his good pal's jaw-dropping comeback and made a tease of his own.

Speaking with ET Canada, Momoa finally addressed the major DCU shakeup and how excited he is to work with Gunn and Safran. Intriguingly, the 43-year-old star teased that his "dream" project is finally happening under the new DC Studios regime.

He said: "I think with Peter Safran and Mr. Gunn at the helm now at DC, I'm very excited about that. There are a lot of cool things that are going to be coming up and one of my dreams come true will be happening under their watch, so stay tuned."

Momoa refused to go into detail about the said project but it would be safe to assume that it has something to do with the Justice League reuniting. Either that or it'll be a major storyline involving Aquaman the actor most likely pitched a number of years back. His level of enthusiasm is enough proof though that something huge is being cooked up by the new DC Studios co-heads.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is scheduled for theatrical release on December 25, 2023.
