Jason Momoa Possibly Revealed Game Of Thrones Season 8 Red Carpet Premiere Date

It looks like some people will be lucky enough to see Game of Thrones Season 8 before its actual premiere date. Jason Momoa may have revealed that the HBO series is set for a red carpet premiere more than a week before the final season airs on the network.

Momoa was recently in attendance at The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part red carpet premiere where he reminisced about his time on Game of Thrones. While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Aquaman star somehow admitted that he will be attending the HBO show's red carpet premiere "on the third."

People immediately noticed Momoa's comment and wondered if the actor was talking about March 3rd or April 3rd. Considering that March is way too early, fans believe that Momoa meant April 3rd, which would be 11 days before the final season's actual air date. Moreover, it looks like Game of Thrones alums will get to attend the red carpet premiere this year.

Alternatively, fans are wondering if Momoa will actually return in Season 8 as Khal Drogo. After all, the people who usually attend the premiere are cast members who have been working on the series. Drogo was killed off back in the first season but people have been hoping to get another glimpse at Daenerys Targaryen's beloved Khal. Could Momoa have a cameo in a flashback or a vision? We'll find out for sure in April.

Game of Thrones Season 8 will be the final season but will also pave the way for a prequel series. The battle for the throne starts on April 14.
