Jason Momoa Gets Arthur Curry's Tattoo on Aquaman 2 Set

We already know that Jason Momoa has started working on Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom and it looks like he's beginning to look more like Arthur Curry every day. Momoa's latest post confirms he just got his character's trademark neck tattoo on the set of the DC Extended Universe sequel.

The See star has just shared a new video on his official Instagram account showing him on the set of Aquaman 2. At one point, Momoa pulls his shirt down to expose the new neck tattoo that has just been painted on his clavicle. Check it out below.

It's interesting to note that although Momoa now has Arthur's trademark tattoos, he appears to still have his long brown hair. The Dune star had previously announced that he is supposed to be going blond for Aquaman 2 but there is a possibility that the dye job has not yet pushed through.

We're glad to see that Momoa is having fun on the set of the sequel but we have yet to learn new details about Aquaman 2. So far, it is believed that the new movie will focus on the underwater city of Necrus, which only appears briefly for a brief time and never at the same location twice. The so-called Black City is also the territory of the tyrant king Mongo, who would make an interesting villain in the film.

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom is directed by James Wan and also stars Amber Heard and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The sequel is still in production and scheduled for release on December 16, 2022.
