The DC universe is currently having itself a little Batman party with 2022 set to feature three different actors as the legendary caped crusader. Of course, we're all aware by now that Robert Pattinson, Ben Affleck, and the returning Michael Keaton will take on the Dark Knight mantle in upcoming projects The Batman and The Flash.
On the comics side of things, DC recently introduced the new caped crusader who will take over from Bruce Wayne in the Future State storyline.
Now, the comic book giant is set to enter the podcast game via Batman: Unburied, a Spotify-exclusive drama podcast helmed by David S. Goyer which tells a reimagined story of the caped crusader. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Black Panther star Winston Duke has been cast as the voice actor for Bruce Wayne/Batman with Star Trek and Star Wars alumnus Jason Isaacs voicing Alfred.
The streaming platform released official plot details about Batman: Unburied which will see Bruce as a forensic pathologist at Gotham's medical facility.
The plot reads: When audiences meet Bruce Wayne he is a forensic pathologist, working in the bowels of Gotham Hospital and tasked with examining the victims of The Harvester, a gruesome serial killer preying on Gotham's citizens.
Not only will the superhero be forced to face his own mental demons, but he will also have to overcome them in order to save the citizens of Gotham as his alter-ego, Batman.

Meanwhile, it'll be interesting to see how DC Films and WB will handle the "overabundance" of Batmen next year. Having three different caped crusaders sounds amazing but it can't be denied that casual fans will most likely feel confused more than anything. I'm honestly a little apprehensive considering WB's mishandling of its DC film franchise but I guess they've learned their lesson.
No official release date has been announced for Batman: Unburied.
