Aquaman Star Jason Momoa Cuts Long Hair For A Buzz-Cut
Momoa shared a video on Instagram when he was getting a haircut. In the caption, he shared that the move was to protect the "land and oceans."
"here's to new beginnings let's spread the aloha. be better at protecting our land and oceans. we need to cut single use plastics out of our lives and out of our seas. plastic bottles, plastic bags, packaging, utensils all of it. let's aloha our 'āina together aloha j," he wrote in the caption.
The post received over 500,000 likes in just 11 hours. Many netizens were impressed with the Dune star's move because they also believed in the importance of protecting the environment.

Jason Momoa's Stylist Shares Secret Behind Aquaman Star's Lush And Healthy Locks
Momoa's stylist Jen Stanfield shared what she does to maintain his impressive healthy, long hair. According to Stanfield, trimming is necessary.
"Keeping hair trimmed even when it's long is important," she said, per Men's Health. "If you're at a point where you're over it and you don't think you take it anymore, seek some professional help so they can adjust the shape. It helps hair grow out more easily."
She added that there's a stage in growing curly hair where it grows out before it starts to grow down, and hairdressers can remove the weight without cutting the length too much.

They also do not wash Momoa's hair often. It might sound strange, especially because Aquaman, Momoa's popular character, spends so much time in the water.
"We didn't wash his hair more than once a week and we didn't use shampoo," she added. "It was rinsed and conditioned often, but washing it too much and having it too clean makes it fluffy. We used a conditioning wash."
Stanfield also shared the secret that gave texture to Momoa's hair and emphasized its curls. Apparently, many probably didn't expect this — sea salt.
"Sea salt spray gives that authentic surfy, lived-in look," the hairstylist said.
According to Stanfield, when sea salt is sprayed on wet hair, it adds volume to thin hair. It also works on all lengths, giving it a tousled and textured look.
