James Gunn Snaps After He Was Dragged In Margot Robbie's Rumored Involvement With Marvel

The online world may offer different kinds of significant information, but more often than not, it also gives plenty of lies and rumors, especially about Hollywood situations.

James Gunn is not one to tolerate rumors, especially if they tarnish his name and the reputation he is building as he revamps the DC Universe.

Since he took the post as co-CEO of DC Studios, Gunn hasn’t rested a day from getting involved with hearsay, especially now that he holds one of the most anticipated movies in the superhero world, Superman: Legacy.

One of the recent rumors that Gunn’s name was dragged in has something to do with Margot Robbie transferring to Marvel and leaving her pigtails as Harley Quinn.

@DCULeaks tweeted something suspicious that caught Gunn’s attention and made him angrily respond.

“Dude, why do you just keep posting lies? Sometimes they’re just stupid made-up stuff. But other times, making up bullshit like this about people I care about, can be hurtful. Maybe you’re having a difficult time in life & lying for attention is how you get solace. But please find a better way.” argued Gunn.

The shady fan does not seem to back down after getting called out by the DC boss. The two had a few exchanges that humored and irritated the other fans.

“I don’t think any lying is ok. I’m just demarcating the difference between stupid lies and potentially harmful ones.” the filmmaker once again replied.

Most have agreed that Gunn had the right to react the way he did and said how much they respect him for defending himself and his friends against liars online.

“That's why I have respect for James Gunn, he'll tell you if you're wrong and won't allow false rumours to stick around. James will ignore some rumours like potential cast members but if a post says that something is definitely happening, he'll say it's definitely not.” wrote @SpartaRulz

This rumor is one of the rumors that the director had to get through this past weekend after the rumors about the next Superman also emerged online, which he also debunked.
