James Gunn Reveals Someone Is Trying to Sneak Extra Scenes In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3


The director of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, James Gunn confirmed that the third installment will mark the last time that the entire Guardians team will be together onscreen, the crew and the cast are clearly having fun making the most of their last journey with each other. In James Gunn’s latest Twitter post, he shared a hilarious image that was probably drawn and snuck on set by one of the stars, Karen Gillan (Nebula).

"On #GotGVol3 I keep a board with all the shots I want to get for the day, each one hand-drawn. But now it seems someone is trying to sneak new shots into my plans. Call me crazy but I think it's @karengillan," Gunn wrote in his caption. The image in his post shows a hilariously drawn Nebula that says, "long monologue." Karen Gillan quote-tweeted the post with the caption “Hehehe.” You can check out their Twitter posts below.

There’s already a lot of speculation about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and Gunn hinted before that there will be a few major deaths in the film, and a lot of fans guessed that Rocket will be the one dying. After the confirmation that this will be the end, fans of the film took to social media to express their fears about who might die in the movie, and they’re not the only ones to show their sadness online. Karen Gillan also reacted to Gunn’s latest statement, commenting a lot of sad emojis.

In addition to the returning cast, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will also be featuring Peacemaker star Chukwudi Iwuji, and Will Poulter as Adam Warlock. As of now, it is still unclear who Iwuji is playing in the film.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to be released on May 5, 2023.
