Guardians of the Galaxy was a major hit not just because of its wit and humor, but also because of James Gunn's great musical selection that highlighted the best moments of the film. Now, as fans wait for the release of the film's sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Gunn teases the dramatic musical score of the upcoming Marvel superhero film in a new video.
Taking to Facebook just about an hour ago, Gunn decided to give fans a special look at the recording of the score for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 made by composer Tyler Bates. Taken live from Abbey Road, the video Gunn shares on Facebook allows fans to witness firsthand one of the important processes of post-production – musical scoring. Check out Gunn's video down below:
Dramatic and full of depth, the piece evokes so much emotion and many fans commenting on the post expressed how amazing it felt to listen to the piece. Gunn certainly knows how to incorporate music to make a film come to life. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a definite must-watch this year.
