It looks like the highly anticipated James Bond 25 is finally moving forward and the full cast list has just been revealed. Not surprisingly, Academy Award winner Rami Malek has been confirmed to play the main villain in the upcoming Daniel Craig film. In addition to that, Blade Runner 2049 star Ana de Armas is set to become the latest Bond Girl.

The official James Bond Twitter account made it official by sharing an interesting message from Malek. Watch the video below.

"Hey everyone, this is Rami Malek, and I am not jealous. Not one bit that you're all in the absolutely stunning of Ian Fleming's Caribbean home GoldenEye on the island of Jamaica. Yeah, I'm stuck here in New York, in production. But I'm very much looking forward to joining the whole cast and crew very soon and I promise you all I will be making sure Mr. Bond does not have an easy ride of it in this, his 25th outing," Malek said.

The James Bond 25 Live Reveal also confirmed that de Armas has joined the cast along with Captain Marvel's Lashana Lynch.

Returning cast members include Craig, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Jeffrey Wright, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, and Naomie Harris. Billy Magnussen (Aladdin), Dali Benssalah (Nox), and David Dencik (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) round out the cast.

The new film will be shot in Jamaica, Norway, London, and Italy. The movie's synopsis reads as follows:

"Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology."

James Bond 25 is scheduled for release on April 8, 2020.
