Jak And Daxter Games Coming To PS4

Before Naughty Dog was making more realistic and gritty games like The Last of Us and the Uncharted franchise, they were known for their kid-friendly adventure platformers like Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter. Good news is, the Jak and Daxter trilogy is coming to the PS4, and the package will also include the racing spin-off, Jak X.

According to Polygon, the Jak and Daxter franchise will be the first to get the PS2 Classics treatment. The game is said to have an updated resolution of 1080p, and they'll also feature several different add-ons like Share Play and Remote Play.

I absolutely loved the Jak games, and my 12-year-old mind was blown when the sequels took a different turn and transported Jak to the gritty world of Haven City. Too bad my PS2 had to break down before I could get my hands on Jak X.

Speaking of Jak X, this will be the first time that it will be available for purchase ever since its release back in 2005. The Jak trilogy is available for the PS3 and PS Vita, but the package didn't include the combat racing spin-off; it isn't available digitally at all.

Expect the updated Jak and Daxter package to come out later this year, with a price tag between $9.99 and $14.99.
