IVE members spoke about their new album, I'VE IVE, and its songs.
On April 10 at 6 p.m. KST, IVE dropped its first-ever full-length album since it debuted. It followed the success of the girl group's singles, Love Dive and After LIKE.
Among the album's songs, each member picked their favorites and shared why they chose them.

IVE Members Share Favorite Songs From I'VE IVE
IVE members Yujin, Wonyoung, Gaeul, Rei, Liz, and Leeseo recently appeared in an interview with Billboard via Zoom and spoke about the group's new album.
Wonyoung revealed that "power and confidence" are the album's key concepts.
"This album is super meaningful to me as it's our first full-length album and also because I participated in writing the lyrics for the first time," Yujin said. "This album is like a package of different versions of IVE, and it has the unique color of IVE. I hope you look forward to our album and many other plans."
During the interview, the publication congratulated IVE for its impressive full album. It also asked the members to pick their favorite songs.

Wonyoung picked Mine since she wrote the track's lyrics. Meanwhile, Liz selected the I'VE IVE title track, I Am.
Gaeul said she loves Hypnosis, saying its lyrics were the most fun to write. She and Rei wrote its lyrics.
Leeseo and Rei chose Shine With Me and Cherish, respectively.
On the other hand, the members also picked the song on behalf of Yujin, as the K-pop idol was absent during the Zoom interview. According to Wonyoung, their bandmate would have picked Heroine or Kitsch.
IVE Dominated South Korea's Circle Album Chart
While IVE has already appeared on several charts, it also scored the top spot on Circle Album Chart after selling 1.3 million copies.
The recent recognition became its fourth win on the chart, following Eleven, Love Dive, and After Like.
IVE's newest feat also included being the second-biggest first-week debut album sales on the chart in 2023 after TWICE's Ready To Be.
