On IU’s YouTube channel, the idol-actress spoke about her unusual phobia and thoughts about traveling.
In one of the videos, the Hotel Del Luna star invited her celebrity friend Yoo In Na on her channel as they spoke about what scares them and traveling.
Titled We Will Be Happier (With Yoo In Na) the actress introduced the Goblin star as her “bestie” and “genuine friend.”
In a short video, fans get to know more about IU and her dislikes, one of which is traveling.
Why IU is not Fond of Travelling
While the public sees her as a jet setter, working from place to place and being invited to a star-studded event abroad, IU revealed why she dislikes traveling.
In a video, Yoo In Na said that she and IU have been friends for years but they have never traveled together.
The singer-actress said that they have been thinking about it but never really went out and do it. IU then cited their schedule as one of the main factors why they didn't get a chance to explore other countries.
However, Yoo In Na remembers that it’s one thing that her friend is not fond of.
“You don’t like traveling, IU, right?” she said, adding “I used to think that I liked it, but I was told that if I really liked it, I would hit the road as soon as I wanted to travel somewhere. But I’m just all talk but no action.”

The Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo star then replied that traveling drains her and explained reason behind it.
“I don’t like traveling around, to be honest,” she said.
Moreover, IU also pointed out that she finds it very tiring to leave home.
“As soon as I leave home, my energy starts to drop. I can feel my internal battery is getting lower and lower,” she explained.
IU Reveals Her Odd Phobia
One thing that surprised viewers the most on IU’s YouTube video was her phobia.
The actress revealed that besides traveling, she is not used to having long phone conversations.
When asked by Yoo In Na about the longest phone call they had, IU immediately responded that it was only 3 minutes.
She said that she finds it “difficult to have a long phone call in one sitting.”
On the other hand, her celebrity friend prefers having long call conversations.
According to IU, she even finds it “uncomfortable” to call her mom over the phone.
“I believe that the only person I feel comfortable having a call with is my manager,” she confessed, adding “Maybe it’s because we only talk shop.”
In addition, IU also admitted that she finds it “uncomfortable to have a long call” with Yoo In Na and added, “Frankly, no one can have a long call with me.”
Interestingly, despite not having long conversations over the phone, IU and Yoo In Na have a unique way of conversing.
“We used to chit-chat by using only consonants,” she revealed, adding “We can understand it all just by typing consonants only” and would communicate for a few days just using consonants.
