27 years later after the events of the first IT movie, the members of The Losers' Club are back in the first photo from Andy Muschietti's IT: Chapter 2, and it reveals the gang all grown-up, walking on the streets of Derry.
The photo features almost all of the main cast members that include James McAvoy as Bill, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, James Ransone (Generation Kill) as Eddie, Jay Ryan (Beauty and the Beast) as Ben, and Isiah Mustafa as Mike. Andy Bean as Stanley Uris is the only one missing here, and if you're familiar with Stephen King's horror novel, then you know the reason why.
The young cast of the first film will also be back for a variety of flashback scenes, and they include Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Wyatt Oleff, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chosen Jacobs, and Nicholas Hamilton. And of course, Bill Skarsgard will reprise his role as Pennywise the Clown.
The film takes place 27 years after The Losers' Club took down Pennywise. When kids start to go missing again in Derry, Mike Hanlon, who stayed behind in Derry, calls up his old friends and reminds them of the promise to return and stop Pennywise if ever comes back.
IT: Chapter 2 is set to release in theaters on September 6, 2019.
