However, Bofurin students are not superheroes; rather, they are ordinary individuals with immense compassion and understanding for the weak.
Doesn't this seem interesting? This is the premise of Wind Breaker, which revolves around a juvenile delinquent named Haruka Sakura, who has Othello-like hair and heterochromia.
Due to his unique appearance, Sakura is often the object of curiosity and discrimination, which is rare for delinquent anime characters.
Following his transfer to Bofurin, Sakura gets involved in a lot of brawls, some pointless, some not. That said, let's take a closer look at the Wind Breaker manga.
Wind Breaker's Art Style
The art style of the Wind Breaker manga is characterized by its detailed character designs, decent depiction of the world of high school delinquency, and dynamic fighting sequences.
The character designs are distinctive and memorable, with each character sporting unique looks from Haruka Sakura’s Reversi or Othello-like hair to Suo Hayato’s Chinese accessories.

However, Wind Breaker lacks all of these attributes. In truth, Wind Breaker does not feel like a delinquent manga series because the characters are upright and do not engage in unlawful or obscene activities.
They're merely high school students who enjoy fighting for the good.
The story in the Wind Breaker manga is far ahead of the anime. It contains an easy-to-follow plot, allowing readers to have a seamless experience.
Wind Breaker's Flaws
Wind Breaker, like any manga, has shortcomings and plot holes. One of them is the lack of police in the story, which makes it unrealistic from the start.
In addition, I haven't seen any teachers or instructors at Bofurin High to guide the students.
Hajime Umemiya and his four generals govern the school, which makes you wonder how Haruka was admitted to Bofurin High in the first place.
These are just some of the plot holes in the story that are easy to notice. So, if you want to see a raw and honest portrayal of delinquents, Wind Breaker may not be for you.
As mentioned, Wind Breaker doesn’t feel like a heavy delinquent series compared to other manga such as Crows, Worst, or Tokyo Revengers.
