My Hero Academia is full of heroes with strange Quirks. Toru Hagakure, who goes by the superhero name Stealth Hero, is one of them. As her name suggests, is Toru always invisible in My Hero Academia?

Toru Hagakure has yet to steal the show from the other characters of My Hero Academia. Because of her Quirk, she is frequently overlooked in important battles where other characters such as Ochaco, Momo, Tsuyu, Kyoka, and Mina shine the brightest.

Because people can only recognize Toru by her clothes, her invisibility Quirk is often treated as a running gag in the series.

In My Hero Academia, Toru Hagakure’s Quirk is invisibility. To put it simply, she can make her entire body invisible to everyone's eyes, as the name implies.

As a result, Toru is the stealthiest student in Class 1-A, as other students can only see and identify her by her uniform.

Toru, unlike her classmates, excels at espionage, making her the ideal hero for ambushes, attack evasions, spy missions, and even assassinations.

After enrolling in U.A., Toru gains melee-combat abilities that allow her to fight opponents directly with a surprise barrage of punches that are extremely difficult to defend against.

Toru's unique ability allows her to use her ultimate move, Warp Refraction, which permits her to warp sunlight into bright flashes to temporarily blind and stun her opponents.

Is Toru Always Invisible?

While Toru's Quirk cannot be turned off, she was not always invisible in My Hero Academia. In fact, My Hero Academia Chapter 337 briefly showed her face.

This is after Toru refracted the light from Aoyama's Navel Laser with her ultimate move, Warp Refraction.

Because of this, Toru's partial facial features were revealed, making it one of the series' most surprising plot twists.

My Hero Academia Chapter 368 recently revealed a contentious cover featuring Toru's face.

The cover clearly depicts an NSFW illustration of Toru, as she is only wearing gloves and boots, as she used to.

Thanks to the NSFW illustration's keep-out tapes, Toru's figure was prevented from being completely exposed.

This reveal is one of the most hotly contested events in My Hero Academia, and fans have reacted differently to it.

What Does Toru's Face Look Like?

As depicted in the illustration, Toru has short, wavy chartreuse hair with pink specks.

Her eyes are round, with pupils that are violet on the top, teal on the bottom, and yellow on the inside.

She also has yellow lashes that complement her eyes, as well as yellow brows.

Furthermore, she appears to be a fair-skinned woman with a slender yet statuesque figure, similar to Yaoyorozu.

Toru revealed in the first My Heroine Academia chapter that her face is a cross between Yang Guifei and Francis Xavier if that makes sense.
