A lot of excitement is already built up for Deadpool 2 despite the movie still in early stages of pre-production. Some possible concept art has been leaked for the movie — "possible" because the images aren't officially released by Fox, but judging by the quality, it could very well be straight from the production.
The art features concepts for Cable and Domino. You can see that the artist is already using Brad Pitt as the model despite it not yet being confirmed if he'll be in the movie. Domino, however, has already been cast, and if you take a good look, they did a color reversal with her design.
In the comics, Domino is usually portrayed to have pale white skin with one eye covered in black. In the concept art, the eye is actually covered in white, since the actress cast, Zazie Beetz, is African-American. I also like that afro; it makes her look so much sassier.
More concept art for Cable, Colossus, and Deadpool have also been leaked, but since the source for the images is kind of unknown, you'll have to check them out here.
Let's just remember that it hasn't been confirmed that this is concept art from the production, but everyone else is already convinced that it is. I've seen a bunch of artist rendition of actors as characters, but the images here are on a whole new level. Fake or not, kudos to the artists.
After losing its original director and composer, Deadpool 2 seems to have gotten on its feet, and is moving forward with production. Hopefully the movie makes a release just in time.
Deadpool 2 is set to hit theaters sometime in early 2018.
