Before Disney came along and bought Marvel Entertainment back in 2009, Marvel outsourced its films and gave other studios the film rights to particular characters, this included giving the X-men to 20th Century Fox and Hulk to Universal Pictures who then brought out Ang Lee's Hulk in 2003 and The Incredible Hulk in 2008. Despite being a Universal Pictures film, we see hints of crossovers between The Incredible Hulk and The Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The end credit scene of The Incredible Hulk shows Tony Stark walking into a bar to find General Ross (William Hurt) and mentioning an easter egg of The Avengers.

Due to creative differences, Edward Norton stopped playing Bruce Banner and was later replaced by Mark Ruffalo from The Avengers films onwards. We also see William Hurt returning as General Ross in Captain America 3 Civil War.
.
Like Sony's partnership with Disney where they allowed Spider-Man to appear in the MCU, Universal also made a similar deal and loaned the permissions of Hulk to Disney. However, despite appearing in Disney Films, The Incredible Hulk as a solo film does not appear on Disney Plus.

There are also a wide variety of shows on Disney Plus from Marvel, Star Wars, Disney+, Pixar, ESPN, and National Geographic to choose from in the streaming platform for the price of $7.99 monthly or $79.99 annually.
