Only Murders in the Building is about a group of unlikely friends who live in the same iconic building, The Arconia. Mabel is a young designer who is currently living in her aunt's apartment, while Charles and Oliver are retired artists, still reliving their glory days. When they happen to be stuck in a cafe near their building when they had to evacuate.

They find out that they shared a love for their favorite podcast, and when a murder happens in the Arconia, they eventually decided to create a podcast themselves called Only Murders in the Building.

As they do their own investigations for their podcast, they find themselves in the middle of a complicated web of events that led back to them, connecting them back to the murders.

The first season of Only Murders in the Building premiered on August 2021 while the second season of the series came out on June 2022. The series was renewed after only three episodes were released for season 2.
