Who Is Miranda in Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy?
In episode 12, Makoto's two students, Jin Rohan and Abelia Hopleys, talk about their pasts. Jin tells Abelia about a girl named Miranda who happened to be his first love.
He further mentions that Miranda, an orphan, was forced to fight monsters and tackle difficult challenges.
Toward the end of the episode, we learn that Miranda is Sofia Bulga.

Since Sofia and Miranda are the same person, we can look into Sofia’s powers and abilities to see if she is stronger than Makoto in the series.
Sofia is a Hyuman-Dragon hybrid and is one of the strongest adventurers in Tsukimichi.
As an adventurer, Sofia demonstrates remarkable proficiency in both swordplay and magic, proving her solid fighting abilities.
Her abilities were enhanced through an agreement with Lancer, and they defeated formidable enemies such as Doma, Lyca, and Azuma.
Lastly, she can summon swords from the remnants of defeated enemies.

So, Is Sofia/Miranda Stronger than Makoto in Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy?
Despite being a powerful adventurer, she is nowhere near Makoto’s powers and abilities.
In the two encounters between Sofia and Makoto, Makoto always dominated the fight.
Initially, their first encounter tilted in her favor, and she inflicted injury upon Makoto.
However, as the fight unfolded, she discovered her inability to inflict any further harm upon him. Eventually, she was forced to flee from his lethal assault.
During their second encounter, Sofia found herself utterly incapable of tackling Makoto’s defense and offense until her strength was drained.
Witnessing Lancer’s death at the hands of one of Makoto’s followers forced her to resort to a powerful technique. However, her attempt proved futile, leaving Sofia severely injured.
So, if Sofia and Makoto are pitted again in their current forms, it is highly likely that Makoto can easily overpower her in a battle.
