As of 2nd June 2020, Marvel's Digital Comics Shop closed down. For some fans, they believe this could be a hint from Disney that the publisher itself could soon close down. So what does this mean for the present and future readers?

Marvel Comics Digital Shop
Marvel Comics Digital Shop was the primary destination for fans to be able to read and purchase their latest favorite comics from single issues to multiple collections. However, despite its closure, fans must fear not as issues can still be purchased through other sources and all the content that marvel fans have bought before June 2020 has not disappeared!
Where to Read Marvel Comics
Marvel has stated on their website that it is still possible for customers to use either ComiXology as well as the Marvel Comics app to read the issues that have already been purchased. Customers can also purchase future issues. This is available on both android and IOS.
Unfortunately, they cannot offer a web browser experience for users who wish to read on their desktop however it is possible to sync your marvel app account on the ComiXology website.
Marvel Comic Pre-orders
If any pre-orders were made for issues released after the 1st of June 2020 on the marvel digital comics shop, then those orders would have been canceled and customers can continue making future orders on ComiXology instead.
This move has cemented ComiXology as the winner for both printing and viewing digital comics.
