Geto may appear alive in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series, but in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Geto dies.

Toward the end of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Satoru Gojo finds Geto, who is grievously injured after his battle against Yuta Okkotsu.

Gojo then kills Geto, but the former chooses against Jujutsu High taking custody of Geto’s body.

Things take an unusual turn as the mystery around Geto’s death deepens because an ancient curse user takes away Geto’s body. And this ancient curse user is none other than Kenjaku.

So, Are Kenjaku and Geto the Same Person?

No, Kenjaku is not Geto, but he has taken over Geto's corpse.

As an ancient curse user, Kenjaku boasts a millennia-long existence, and through his innate technique, he is able to transfer his brain to other individuals, thereby gaining control over them.

Over the course of centuries, he has inhabited various hosts, seamlessly adopting their identities. He has possessed Noritoshi Kamo, Kaori Itadori, and Geto.

Currently, he has taken over Geto’s body in order to use all of his powers and abilities.

Now, coming to Kenjaku’s appearance, the look and shape of his body are dependent on the host's body.

At the moment, he looks exactly like Geto and his sole distinguishing features are the stitches and scars encircling the crown of his host’s skull.

Interestingly, in contrast to a typical brain, Kenjaku's brain possesses tooth-like structures.

In his recent form, he bears an uncanny resemblance to Geto as he appeared on the day of his demise in the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.

Being an ancient sorcerer, Kenjaku has amassed an extensive reservoir of power and expertise spanning thousands of years.

He has the innate technique to transfer himself into another person’s body, even if they are deceased, by implanting his brain into their body.

In this process, Kenjaku gains access to the host’s techniques, memories, and cursed energy.

Remarkably, even the Six Eyes cannot detect him as an impostor due to his retained cursed energy.
